Gulet waiting for us after a hike

Cruising on the Turkish Coast - Sunday April 22 thru Wednesday April 25

Arrived in beautiful Gocek harbor late in day and left immediately for island anchorage. Next three days spent anchored in uncrowded coves - often boats were alone. We hiked both mornings and afternoons to ruins ranging from 4th century BC to 2nd century AD. Sailed with genoa most of first afternoon. Visited Shepard tending sheep, hiked to secluded marina, and even visited Cleopatra's bath disappointed to find her gone for the day. Accommodations and meals were terrific. Roger slept out under stars two nights. Many pretty scenes and perfect weather. Left boats in Fethiye early Wednesday morning where we again met James Bond movie film crew who were anxious for us to quickly off their set.
