After meeting us at Montreal airport, Bill and family drove us two hours to Burlington VT. A week-long family visit in the Vt Kallock's rental cottage on Shelburne Bay gave us time to share stories and pix from this "Round the World" trip. We now realize even more than ever the how lucky we are to have both our daughter's and son's families as well as an extended worldwide family many of whom hosted us on this trip of a lifetime. Daughter Carrie and new dog Tuffy greeted us at the airport. After a stop for quick dinner of cheeseburgers and sliders with Dennis, we came home to see all the work Carrie, Dennis and Taylor had done in the yard. It was a perfect present for two tired, but thankful travelers.
Our immediate families are all planning to be home here in Lake Lucerne for the Annual July 4th celebration which this year just happens will be celebrated on the day of our actual anniversary, Saturday June 30. From Carrie and Dennis' family, our oldest grandson DW (21) and friend Kelcie from Moscow, ID, Shelby(19) from Chautauqua NY all plan to be here with their sister Taylor(17). Bill and Emily and young grandsons Will (5) and Odie (2) will be here for several weeks as they will be homeless after having the cottage lease expire and their new energy efficient home not available until around August 1.
